If you’re like me you are probably looking forward to the change of season, but you’re dreading the dry skin that comes with winter weather. When your skin is dry, rough, itchy, scaly, ashy, or simply too rough, you need to know what to do to keep your skin matrix, the structural integrity of your skin, from being destroyed.
Add herbs like fresh mint, basil, cilantro, fresh slices of fruit to a large pitcher of water and let it sit overnight in the fridge. Add slices of fresh lime, lemon, or orange. Citrus fruits are high in vitamin c which your skin fight dryness. Tip #2 – Make Sure Your Diet Is Hydrating– Make sure you’re getting enough B vitamins.
