Hi know what you mean it is absolutely horrible! Well, I want to give you the inside skinny, that’s right skinny, on why your skin gets loose and how to tighten it up before, during, and after weight loss because really, it’s a process.

Those of you who have lost weight know what I mean. If you are just starting to lose weight, you really do want to take care of your skin because there is nothing worse then loose ugly skin, the kind that wraps around your arms and you feel like you need to safety pin it, horrible! How to tighten loose belly skin is one of the most in-demand questions I get. I was able to get rid of mine and all the cellulite I accumulated when I was over 65 pounds overweight. I still train, do photo shoots, make presentations, dance around on the beach, so I don’t want things to be waving in the wind! I have done so much research and so much study and I have so many great scientists that consult with me and give me ideas and understanding to help me to know what works and what doesn’t work.

When I am getting someone ready for a shoot and they have to be tight and have to lose 10-20 pounds, we still need to do things so that the skin is still beautiful. It’s the same for fitness competitors, you know how important it is to keep your skin tight. You gain some weight off season and then getting back into the competition season, you have to decrease body fat and it can be horrible if loose skin is the result.

We want to get the quality of the skin to be beautiful and supple. It doesn’t matter who you are, everyone wants to know how to get rid of loose belly skin and cellulite. I want to share with you how to tighten loose belly skin and the 5 things you may be doing wrong when you’re losing weight.

1. You’re Trying To Lose Weight Too Fast – You should lose no more than 2-3 pounds a week. As you lose weight, your body has to adapt because your muscles and skin work together synergistically so if you lose too fast it doesn’t give your skin a chance to adapt and produce more elastin as it shrinks to the new body size. It takes time for the skin’s cellular turnover to happen, to restructure to grow and to reformulate. If you lose too fast you will have to spend more money to get your skin tight,

2. You Don’t Stay Hydrated Consistently.  That’s why I use my fruit infused water bottle because there are certain plants that help the collagen to restore faster. When you do this, you are giving your body the enzymes and the minerals and nutrition your body needs to regenerate and to restore. To repair faster. With it comes a guide that will help your water doesn’t always hydrate your skin. Because you also need other vitamins and minerals. Whatever you do for prevention, you have to be patient.

3. You’re Not Eating Foods That Are skin Friendly – It’s very important to eat foods rich in protein for it helps to repair your skin, it keeps your muscles intact, and it helps to stimulate elastin and collagen which help to tighten your skin. Low amounts of protein in your diet will also prevent you from losing weight over time because you are not eating enough to burn the fat. Yes, muscle helps you to lose weight faster. If you’re not getting enough protein, it can slow down your metabolism and make losing weight almost impossible. It is almost standard for women to eat at least 90 grams of protein daily, especially if you are exercising. Fish, chicken, protein smoothies, beans, seeds, nuts, they all help. If you look at Asian skin they drink lost of matcha tea and use it in recipes in yogurt and everything. Live on macho tea for the 1st 30 as part of your food program.

4. You’re Not Nurturing Your Skin – If you are wondering how to tighten loose belly skin, then this step is a very important one. You must exfoliate your skin daily, take a hot bath with sea salts and minerals. If you dry brush your skin, this is great. This is great because you this can detox your skin and it helps to smooth you skin. If you don’t have access to a bath tube, showers are great, but dry brush your skin before jumping in. Then, when you get out of the shower or get out of the tub make sure you get a rough towel, and you rub your skin Dry brushing helps to nourish your skin. It helps to drain the lymph nodes, and when you brush your skin, your body will rush blood to the surface of your skin bringing nutrients to your skin so your body can repair faster and your skin and get tighter, smoother, and firmer.  Dry brushing improves the skins ability to absorb water and to become hydrated from the water you drink,

5. You’re Not Exercising! You have to exercise. Because if you are not exercising it’s difficult to keep your skin firm.  Your muscles connect with the facia and this connection needs collagen and elastin in order to work properly. When you don’t get enough exercise, your muscles shrink. Eating healthy, getting enough water and eating enough protein is a process that works together to help create skin that is tight.  You also have to do strength training. You have to train your upper body, your lower body, There is also great facial exercises you can do. Find some great Youtube videos and do facial workouts. You need to keep your muscles active and exercise is key.
