Thank you so much for all you share in your newsletters and blogs! I’m a new follower and customer of your skincare line and I love it! Today,  I needed to write to you. I’m usually a very happy person, but lately, I’ve been feeling really, really, depressed! My birthday is coming up. How Is A Stem Cell Facelift Done?

Step 1 – Stem cells are taken from the adipose fat tissue and placed collected into a device that will process each patient cells. The cell device is able to retrieve the stem cells from the fat, they are then separated, cleaned, and turned into a concentrate in a number of vials. 

Step 2 – The cells are collected in a syringe that is placed back into the same patient. The advanced technology allows for the cells to work effectively without the body rejecting the cells. The cells also have the capability to regenerate any damaged cells and reconstruct them and to help facilitate a natural healing response. 

Step 3 – Once the fat is placed, symmetry is checked and then the skin is re-wrapped in a vertical direction and closed in layers.

Unlike months with a traditional surgical face life, the stem cell facelift recovery time is anywhere from 7 to 10 days depending on the patient’s health, age, and severity of aging. From the time of the procedure to the several weeks later, the skin goes through a healing process and each day swelling and redness decreases.

Why Is There Controversy With The Stem Cell Facelift?

There are a couple of reasons why there is controversy surrounding the stem cell facelift. Plastic surgeons feel that the stem cell facelift is mere a fat transfer procedure with a fancy name and a huge price tag. Another controversy is the possible side effects due to the stem cells. Because stem cells replicate multiple body tissues, side effects could include different type of deformities.

How is this procedure different than a conventional fat grafting or lipo transfer?

The stem cell facelift does not transfer fat cells, it transplants them with specific growth factors at 3 different levels in the skin, it uses techniques for the maximum amount of skin circulation and tissue growth combined with skin resurfacing procedures.

Is There any Follow-Up Procedures Involved?

For the stem cell facelift, patients are to undergo a second growth factor injection 4-5 months after the initial procedure. After the injection, a special topical cream to stabilize the integrity of the stem cells is recommended for use for up to 12 months.

How much does the Stem Cell Face Lift Cost?

In general, the cost is similar to traditional surgical facelifts and vary by surgeon. Most expect to pay around $ 4000- $ 8000 dollars.
