How To Have Thick Eyebrows
5 Reasons Why You Have Thin Eyebrows & How To Grow Them Back Thicker And More Beautiful g!

Dear Victoria,
I’m a big fan of yours and have been getting your newsletters for a couple of years now. My question today is about how to grow thick beautiful eyelashes. Mine are getting thin and sparse and I feel I am way too young to be experiencing this condition. All my friends have beautiful, thick eyebrows and I feel like the left out ugly duckling. Can you tell me how to have thick eyebrows? I’ve tried a few DIY remedies for a few months and didn’t see any results. In fact, it
got worse. What are some things I can do that are easy and affordable?
Sincerely, Tracey
Hi Tracey,
When it comes to eyebrows, unlike eyelashes, the trend dictates what is beautiful and popular. Over the years, the most prominent women wore their eyebrows as a way to create individuality, charm, mystery, and intrigue. The woman
who historically is known for creating the use of makeup was Queen Cleopatra. Egyptian eyebrows were dramatically brought in modern awareness by the big screen. Actresses like Elizabeth Taylor who played Cleopatra and in the famous movie by the same name.
Marilyn Monroe’s eyebrows were created by the infamous Allen “Whitney” Snider who was her makeup artist throughout her career. Allen created the shape of her eyebrows as a way to help create a heart shape face and help minimize her wide forehead. Thicker eyebrows were a sign of beauty and sensuality. When thinking of growing your eyebrows back, also think of why you are having thin brows. Here are a few common reasons why you could be experiencing thin, sparse brows.
1. You Are Trying To Get Rihanna’ New Look
The 70s may be coming back again, but you don’t have to be a part of the movement! Rihanna’s new look is the thin brow look. This look is achieved by shaving and plucking your eyebrows. This can
severely damage the hair follicles and stop the hair from growing back again. Please stop plucking – you can shape your eyebrows by lightly waxing under the brow or on the inside of the brows near the bridge of your nose for clean shaping. Plucking isn’t bad for your eyebrows. It’s OVER plucking. It’s always good to use a mix of threading, waxing and tweezing, depending on what is needed to create
the perfect arch.
2. You’re Nutrient Deficient
Your Eyebrows Are Screaming, “Feed me!”. When you are not getting enough nutrients like vitamin B12, vitamin D, E, A, and C, you will begin to see your hair and eyebrows start to become thin. Eating foods that are
stripped of nutrients like junk food and eating a diet that doesn’t include a lot of green vegetables and healthy fat like omega 3 fatty acids, will result in dry skin. Your skin is the foundation for healthy hair. Start including whole foods in your diet. Whole grains, lean protein, leafy greens, and fruits like berries and apples will help your brows grow back nice and thick again.
3. You’re Hormones Have Called It Quits
At about age 30 hormones begin to decrease resulting in a loss of hair, energy, and weight gain. One sign of decreased hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, is thin eyelashes and eyebrows. Fortunately, you
don’t have to rush and get bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. You can make sure your diet provides a healthy amount of protein and healthy fats. Second, you can take supplements like biotin. Biotin helps to build healthier strong hair and nails. Collagen is another protein made by the body. You can add collagen protein to your shakes to help your body produce more naturally which in turn helps to grow healthy hair and brows.
