This is the time when we are in the sun the most, taking vacations, attending weddings, meeting our summer love, and more. It also is a time when more of our bodies are exposed and we want to look good in shorts, crop tops, sleeveless tops, and bikinis. But, what if you feel like you would rather hide behind your body because of loose skin, especially around and under your eyes.

Thank you so much for all the information you give in your newsletters! Every week I learn more and more information on how to take care of my body, tighten my skin, how to lose weight and more. The problem I need help with is the skin under my eyes.

When I was born, I had natural bags!! I know, awful! People were always asking me if I was tired. As I got older, it was one of my body issues that ruined my self-esteem. After a drastic weight loss, I got eye surgery on the upper and lower of my eyes (underneath my eyes to remove the excess fat pads there made the bags). Afterward, I was a new person! Now, the area under my eyes looks “crepey’ when I smile. It is very noticeable. I’ve tried different creams and skin tightening serums, but they are not getting better. I don’t think another surgery is the answer.

Can you please advise me on how to tighten skin under eyes and also all over my body?

I totally get what you are talking about in regards to how to tighten skin under eyes, especially that loose, saggy, wrinkled crepey skin that is ruining your smile! The skin under the eyes is very thin. That’s why it wrinkles easily.

Also, the skin where there are less sebaceous glands we tend to have deeper wrinkles according to a study in Japan And when you had surgery, they tightened the muscles and cut off excess skin to make the skin flat and firm.
