Anti-Aging Makeup Routine For Mature Skin7-Steps To Look And Feel More Beautiful
As a celebrity trainer and model, I’ve worked with people in a variety of industries and stages of life. I’ve noticed, once you reach a certain age, you may find it difficult to wear makeup the same way as when you were younger. I’ve worked with some of the best makeup artists in the world and I want to share with your some makeup tips to help you achieve fresh, youthful skin. Keep reading to the end where I share with you my daily signature skin tightening skincare routine. Everything You Need In Your Anti-Aging Skincare Makeup Kit
1 Skin Prepping. – After cleansing your face, hopefully, with a cleanser that helps reduce pores, and nourishes your skin, it’s important to prep your skin with serums to help draw moisture to your skin. Using a hyaluronic acid serum can help. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to lock and seal moisture from escaping your skin. It can hold 1000x its molecule weight making it the perfect solution to prepare the skin so your other products work better.
2. Use A Skin Tightening Product – As we age, wrinkles like to appear out of nowhere! You need to be proactive and know how to reduce them so you looking younger is effortless. Using a skin tightening formula made for crepey skin can help especially if you want to tighten and firm your skin and get that healthy-looking “Dewy-Look”. 2. Dewy Foundation and Concealer – Radiance is the main focus when using foundation and concealer. You don’t want a dried, cake look. Youthful skin has a natural glow, so using a foundation that is moisture-rich will smooth wrinkles and lines and make the skin look plumper. If you’re going to use concealer, don’t put on foundation under the eyes. It will appear too heavy and show more wrinkles.
3. Face Powder – Make sure to stay away from shimmer face powders. They show off too many flaws. Use a face powder that is transparent or is moisturizing and use it sparingly. 4. Blush – Use a shade that complements your skin tone and gives a sun-kissed look. Bring the blush up close side-corner of your eyes and along with the apples of your cheeks. Add a highlighter on the top of the cheekbones, along the nose bone, and between the eyebrows. 5. Eye shadow – Use a soft neutral-toned eye shadow and keep it simple. If you use the eye shadow along the lower eyelid, will open up the eyes. If you want an evening look or if your eyelashes are spare, add naturally-looking lashes. 6. Mascara – You don’t need waterproof mascara unless your eyes water a lot. Use a mascara that is not drying and a formula that will lengthen and thicken your lashes.
7. Kissable Lips – Lastly, finish with a kissable lip color that you love and that matches your complexion. Use a lip liner to add fullness and plumpness since lips tend to get smaller as we age. Applying makeup correctly is just the first step to anti-aging makeup for mature skin. There is no makeup routine that looks great without having great skin. I know because I suffered from adult acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and crepey skin. I had to correct my diet, drink plenty of water to hydrate my skin, exercise including strength training to tighten and tone the muscles underneath the sagging skin in order to tighten it up along with the following signature skin tightening system I created.
